A teaching position is now available at ICC Plus English in Almaty, Kazakhstan (www.iccplus.kz).

Almaty is the economic capital of Kazakhstan, which is the most stable Central Asian nation. Almaty has seen rapid economic growth and development in the last few years and it would be an ideal base for a person to explore both Kazakhstan and other Central Asian nations.

The teaching position is to teach general English and some private tuition. The ideal applicant will have had some teaching experience but need not be a professional teacher. Experience in IELTS or TOEFL exam preparation is highly desirable. The school will provide visas, accommodation, and a salary of US$1000 per month. The initial contract period would be for 12 months, although an applicant wishing to work for 6 months would also be considered. The position is to start in January 2008 and will remain open until filled.
