Turkey Prayer Trip Spring 2008

In the Spring of 2008, we are offering a unique opportunity to travel to Eastern Turkey. This short-term team will explore and pray for the largest unreached Muslim people in the world.

General Description: The purpose of this team is to intercede on behalf of Turkey, one of the most difficult places on earth, and to equip the church to pray from home. We will do thhis by introducing you to the culture, history and religion, as well as showing you how mission works in practise.

Location: Istanbul (formerly known as Byzantium and then Constantinople) has stood for more than 1500 years at the pivot of world history, and daily spreads ever wider across both the Asian and European sides of the Bosphorus.  We will also travel to another large city in the Eastern part of Turkey.

Training: Orientation and debriefing will take place in Turkey. Special Requirements: This trip is designed for committed Christians motivated to pray, so come prepared to pray.

Cost: Approximately £350.00, but details are to be confirmed. Team members should also budget for travel insurance, visa, souvenir shopping and personal items.

Travel: Each team member will be responsible to book his or her own flights to and from Istanbul.
